I have a new Samsung 997 DF 19" CRT. Overall, I am pleased with the image quality, certainly a step up from my Daewoo (who new they also made monitors?) 15". Anyway, I noticed the text on the left and right side of the screen (on the edge of the viewing area) is slightly blurred, not nearly as sharp as the text in the center. What would cause this? Is this just an inherent deficiency in CRTs? In another post someone had commented the overall quality of CRTs has gone down since the focus is becoming LCDs so I wonder if this is just a product of that.

Thanks,

Brandt

P.S. Crashman, I took your advice in going with aa Samsung and so far must say I am pleased. Good gaming LCD's are just still too expensive for me to get.
