I am looking for a good gaming laptop. I currently have a budget of about 1500 dollars. I want to get the most bang for my buck, since this will be becoming my main system. I have been looking at asus and msi laptops, but i am having difficulty figuring out what would be the best way to go and video card and cpu. So far the laptops i have looked at have been ones like:

and

just not sure what specs i should be paying more attention to when it comes to getting a laptop for my purposes. Thanks for any advice.

Well they are both good gaming notebooks. The bottom line is that the MSI has a slightly better GPU and the Acer has a slightly better CPU.

I would personally go with the MSI because you will have a slightly better graphics card, plus a descent resolution on a nice 17" screen (especially if it is your main computer). Also the MSI has a 4.1 sound system built in (not going to sound like a home theater system but will be great when compared to other laptops).

But you cant go wrong with either system. Good Luck!

With your budget, I recommand MSI GT725-074US Intel Core 2 Duo 17.0" Wide SXGA+ ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4850 NoteBook
