Do I have to keep my computer on to charge the battery? I just got this and turned off yesterday but kept it plugged in and thought it would keep charging -but it didn't.

No. As long as your PSU is plugged in, your battery should charge.

I have the same problem? so i tried charging the computer while it was off, and NOTHING either!!!!?? what is the deal? I though i was charging it (computer off). I come back 3 hours later, nothing.

ANYONE?
