WD 250GB --or-- WD 250GB RAID edition?

I have the new Asus P5AD2 Premium mobo, P4 3.4. I plan to install two WD 250GB hard drives in order to set up a RAID array (not sure which array yet). Should I install the WD 250GB RAID Edition HD's, or is the standard SATA 250GB sufficient for a desktop environment? Any advice would be much appreciated --pros & cons, whatever.

As far as I can tell they are the same. Both have fluid dynamic bearings (FDB) and 8 meg cache. The only difference between the two may be the warranty length, I'm not able to tell. Get the cheaper of the two if that isn't important to you.
