I have a "newly bought" CQ40-314TU Laptop (for nearly 4 months) and an installed dual core T3400 CPU installed. Originally, it used a version of BIOS (which I didn't know) for Windows Vista but later, I have the BIOS version F11.C installed for XP. Does this version of BIOS support Core 2 Duo CPUs? I have read the HP's documents and learned that this laptop can have some kinds of C2D CPUs. Will I be able to replace the current CPU with a C2D CPU? Thanks all.
