I was reading the InvisiClues for Infocom's Stationfall, and one of the
sections is called "The Return Trip," where you're returning to the SPS
Duffy from the Space Station. Do you start on the return trip to the
Duffy after you put the Foil on the Alien Pyramid?

Oh dear, I think my head is bleeding.... on the inside....
If you are going to read fake entries on Invisiclues, please read the
whole thing.

How can I stop the aliens from vivisecting Captain Fussbottom?
- You won't be able to stop them until you have the proper, very
powerful,
quite deadly weapon.
- Don't go on until you've been to the Navigation Deck.
- Don't go on unless you've docked with the comet.
- Don't go on if you haven't been to the fairy castle and met the
twin
princesses.
- Don't go on unless you absolutely ADORE wasting InvisiClues
developing
fluid on fake questions.

It is alright to ask for help to finish a game, but please stop asking
what to do when the game is finished. At that point it is safe to turn
your computer off. Maybe read a book. I realize there is a very good
chance that you are trolling, or just free-basing, but I prefer to
think that you are a nice guy that is just a little slow on the uptake.
Please search the archive for you answer, and if you don't find it, the
answer is probably "No".

I have to admit that, even after all these years reading newsgroups and
forums, I am still fascinated by trolls. Most are derivative and boring,
but there is still a surprising amount of originality out there among the
troll community. Often I will react to some new style or manner of trolling
the same way I would to a good new song on the radio or some unusual piece
of art in a gallery. On some level I have to admire people who are so
absolutely tireless in their attempt to mildly annoy people to no apparent
end.

I'm really sorry that I annoyed you guys with that question. I'm not
trolling at all, I just didn't realize that "The Return Trip" was a
fake Invisiclues section, so that's why I asked the question. I'm
really sorry for asking that question. Please forgive me.

Brian, don't apologize to these "human beans" on rec.games.int-fiction,
they are so tight that if you stuck a lump of coal up their collective
asses, in two weeks, you'd have a new diamond store open for business.

Just mention downloading 20 year old Infocom games without paying for
them, and watch them explode into action.....
