I've googled, froogled, Tomd and Anand and I can't find anyone with experience with the Samsung Syncmaster 204T.

The specs on this 20" TFT look even better than the Dell 2001. 1600x1200 res, 16ms response, 700:1 contrast, Brightness 300 cd/m2, 178deg viewing.

I'm specifically interested in this monitor for gaming and game development. Applications: PS, 3DSMAX, Ureal Ed, Hammer, NWN and pretty much every PC game.

As far as I know no 20'' TFT is capable of staying within 16ms of latency in REAL life. Hell, no 19'' but one can do that neither. The problem with 20'' monitors is that you find them too slow. Office work - fine maybe. But anything fast and moving will be hurt.

I've got the BenQ 20" and don't notice any ghosting or effects of the slow down.

what i do find is the blacks are bright (if that makes sense). they're just not very black. at that size and brightness it's hard to get raelly dark blacks. but otherwise great display

I have a 24" LCD and I would say that things have changed. You can play games fine, it's just keeping the FPS up that's hard. You need a beast of a GFX card to run this thing.
