IS LAPTOP RAM SAME AS PC RAM??

HI IVE GOT 256 MB OF sdraM FOR PC WILL IT GO IN A LAPTOP THAT SUPPORTS SDRAM??

Laptops use SODIMM's which are smaller as crashman said...but saying that they might be pin compatible.

My laptop soDIMMS are not compatable with PC3200 DDR

But with some new P4 notebooks, I believe some use a desktop proc and DDR 3200. Just not Centrinos.
