Even after scheduling `Chkdsk C: /f /r /v' in the system startup, the
`errors in the Volume bit map' does not correct. Any other solution to clear
this error?

Thanks for any help & replies.

Have you checked your hard drive's physical health? Test the hard drive
with a diagnostic utility from the mftr. Usually you will download the
file and make a bootable floppy or cd with it. Boot with the media and
do a thorough test. If the drive has physical errors, replace it.

What is telling you there are errors in the volume bitmap? Are you
running into any operating issues?
