Since once in a while i see posts here about IF games mentioned or
appearing in other places, I present to you the latest appearance of
"ZORK - Grand Inquisitor". The following picture shows it:
It was captured from a VIDEO in the NEW First Person Shooter game called
"ShadowOps - Red Mercury", if you have the game you can see it for
yourself, at the SPECIAL FEATURES / MAKING OF / SOUND EFFECTS menu option.
Well the video it's not about ZORK itself, but about a company that
makes computer games sound recording/sampling, and when this guy is
walking down the corridor, ZORK framed poster appears in the wall next
to other computer games.
Maybe this is the company that did ZORK - Grand Inquisitor sound sampling?
I know It's nothing big, but i just wanted to share with you guys I was quite surprised to see that actual (meaning not extint) computer
games companies still keep ZORK around
Keep on whatever you were doing,

I also saw a Zork cameo recently, in an X-Play skit (G4TV). It was something
about the announcer's "disembodied voice" family. Apparently, the
disembodied voice in Zork didn't say much.
