Good HDTV tuner for my laptop.

Hello, I am looking to purchase a good HDTV tuner for my laptop for when I got off to college as I won"t have room for a full size tv. I was just wondering what would be a good option to work using my laptop only; not external monitors. I also have no idea what service to use or what program to use to get the channels I want. I watch shows on channels like NBC, ABC, USA, Discovery, Comedy Central, and stuff like that. Any good tuners that come with some kind of service to get those channels? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys!
