You can either increase your FSB (which also increases the CPU speed and PCI/AGP buses unless you have an option to lock them) or you can change the memory divider. All this can normally be done in BIOS depending on your motherboard.

The memory divider probably isnt the best option, a memory divider is a ratio between your FSB (the conection of your CPU to northbridge) and your memory bus. A ratio of 3/4 (FSB/Memory) will mean your CPU will connect to the northbridge at 266Mhz and the memory will connect at 354Mhz. Thats quite a step up for your memory and I doubt it will be able to handle that, there will probbe other memory dividers but they wont be much better.
To be honest the Athlon XP wont benefit much from faster memory. If I were you I would get a good CPU cooler and just UP the FSB. Find out if your motherboard has an AGP/PCI lock.
