I have a Microsoft Intellimouse Optical. Now, on the other one I have, when you lift the mouse off of a surface, it automatically shuts off. But, this mouse instead decides to freak out and the cursor goes all over the place. Really sucks as it screws up in games. All the latest drivers are installed, and I've tried it on PS/2 and USB. Anyone know what's up?

You don't have lint or fuzz or trash in the lens area do you?

I checked before, and didn't see anything. But, I just checked again and there was a hair kicking it right over the lense. Cleaned it off, now it seems to turn off and not freak out anymore. Thanks!
