Alienware plugged in not charging

Most of the time in this situation the connector on the MB has a fractured solder joint from wiggling the mating connector when plugging in the power supply/charger. However it could also be a bad battery pack or a bad charger. Since you don't already know any of this, I make the assumption you are unable to troubleshoot further and should therefore take your laptop to a qualified repair facility.
