Uninstalling Gnusto 0.6.0 from Firefox 1.0.4

Hi -

I seem to be having some trouble uninstalling/removing Gnusto 0.6 from
my Firefox browser. According to the authors' mozdev.org website, I
only have to select it from the Tools -> Extensions menu then click
'Uninstall,' but it doesn't do so.

There doesn't seem to be any way of asking help from the authors short
of subscribing to the mailing list, so I go to (what I thought) the
next best place: RAIF people.

Anyone who can help? Thanks in advance!

It's been a while since I looked at Gnusto 0.6 and I don't recall problems
uninstalling, but looking at their bug database, there's a bug about
something very similar:

Possibly the advice given there may help.

You could also try emailing Thomas or Eric, there are websites listed
for both of them at the bottom of
http://gnusto.mozdev.org/index.html

Eric suggested installing v0.7 over the one I had on that link, and it
worked. Whew!
