I recently purchase a new computer with window 7. I have a office 2002 with publisher cd and I tried to install but the product keys I put in are not recognized. I did use the same cd with the old computer I am replacing.
Please help.
Thank you.

Office 2002 should work on Windows 7, but can't help you with the license key. You'd have to get with MS on that.

Office XP (2002) should work with Windows 7 but I don't think Microsoft supports Office XP anymore. Try another key.

Depending on what type of key. It's possible it was a one computer install only. You need to call microsoft.. which as deadram said may be a dead end anyways.

For a decent free alternative I'd suggest Open Office.

Office XP IS Office 2002, and the various components are known by that name as well.
