I have multiple accounts in my WinXP installation -- 1 admin, and
several limited accounts. I install Palm Deskstop software via the
admin account, but it is not visible or usable from the limited
accounts (although curiously, I see what appears to be a 'unknown
filetype' icon on the limited account desktops).

Any tips of making Palm Desktop usable from the limited accounts? I
don't want to make the limited accounts into admin accounts if at all
possible.

Many Thanks!

I'd like to know that, too. There are applications installed under one Admin
privileged name, but will not run under the others.

You are asking in the wrong group. This is a Warez Binary File-sharing
group. Try in one of the general discussion groups such as
comp.sys.palmtops.pilot or alt.comp.sys.palmtops.pilot.

1. What is this group and why is it here?

1.1 This group is for requesting and posting of Palm Warez only. If
you are having difficulty with a patched application, this is also
considered on topic. Any other questions or discussions not related to
Palm Warez should be directed to a general Palm discussion group,
there is a list of recommended ones in section 7.2. This FAQ has been
agreed to and amended by the regular members of the group.

I think it's something that has to be programmed in at the application
level, for example I have other apps that I've installed as Admin that
are accessible by all the other accounts. Maybe Palm is not the
progressive company that I give them credit for :-)

Anyway, it's a pain having to log in to Admin every time I want to
sync stuff isn't it?
