Boot Problem

When I try to start win xp on my other computer (amd athelon xp 1900+) I get a (windows/system32/config/system) error. It says that I can fix it through the win xp cd. Can anyone guide me through the steps I would have to take in order to fix this problem? I don't want to reinstall.

Just boot from the cd with the XP disk in the cd-rom drive. And you should get the opption to install new or repair Windows XP. Choose repair and that should take care of it!!! Hope this helps.
