Transfering files

Hello, i got a new laptop and i want to transfer all my old files from my ol computer onto my laptop. What would be the best method for doing so ?

If you have the same operating system on both computers then you can use the included Windows easy transter that should be in the start menu. A good cable to have is the double ended male usb cable so you can plug each end into a usb port on each computer, something like this;

I'm sure there are a lot of different prices so shop around to find a lower price and this cable can be used to transfer files between computers.
