TV Wonder Pro

I have an ATI TV Wonder Pro w/ATI X800XT PE running on an 875chipset Prescott 3200 with 2gig RAM 2-2-2-5.

Problem, the TV video runs about 3/4 second behind the sound.

DVD works flawlessly.

All current drivers.

I had an ATI 8500DV AIW and this was not a problem there.

What gives?

I have cable tv, hooked into TV card using coax cable. Then the sound is output to sound in on onboard Realtek 850 audio line in. It seems to only do this when watching the tv.

TV-Wonder Pro has various problems with various video cards and various drivers. You should probably just keep trying new drivers until ATI releases something that works.

I've always considered the TV-Wonder Pro a weak solution given its hardware, and the TV-Wonder a farce, TV-Wonder VE a joke, etc. The only reason I'd consider a TV-Wonder of any type is to get PIP with my AIW 9600 Pro.

Hey, there's an idea: ATI will probably have drivers that work with the TV-Wonder Pro and your newer card about the same time as they release an AIW version of your card with the TV-Wonder integrated.

It has fixed itself. I think it had something to do with automatic UAJ sensing...

Crap! it started getting out of sync again. I noticed it 2 days ago, and about 3 days ago I upgraded video driver from 4.11 to 4.12.
Apparently, this issue is just affecting me.

This sux, I know it can work in sync, but do not know why it started delaying again.
Is it a irq conflict?
a driver issue?
The TV card at issue or the video card or the chipset???
It should be the physical connections, since I did not change them...

Bite the bullet and just get a separate TV card. In the long run it is cheaper. I update my video cards more often then a TV card.

Well i have an aiw 9800 and whenever i update my drivers my tv messes up
For the future dont update the control panel (thats screws up the tv (for me) and for u prob the sound.
Now for the delay

turn on your tv go to the properties tab
Then to the utilization wizzard
and play around with the sound tab
When it sais what you hear right now
try tad in
or line in
or one of those
I'm pretty sure thats the prob cause i've had similar problems with the sound.

I have a Prescott 3200 with CIA enabled and Mobo Monitor 5 lists the CPU speed at 3280mhz
and 2 gig of Corsair XMS Pro at 2-2-2-5

And did my suggestion help?
I got the same processor too
And a gig of the xms pro 2-2-2-5 too
(But still kicking my ass for not getting the PC4000 DAMMIT)

Yeah, lb, I fixed it, thanx to you. With TV open, I had mute audio during sched record checked, unchecked it and video is back in synch.

Damn ati tv cards so tricky
I cant get my ATi HDTV WONDER to work FResh install latest drivers/ updates tv refuses to work the Hdtv works but the analog tv tuner doesnt even open Any ideass??????????????
tried getting it to work with my aiw9800 now i'm trying with a regular 9800 pro still nuttin.

When I got mine, it worked fine with MMC 9.01, then when 9.02 came out, it would not work when I upgraded. So I had to downgrade to 9.01; Then when 9.03 came out, it worked fine.
Have you tried MMC 9.03?

I had the same problem with my aiw9800 used the 9.01 for like half a year after 9.02 came out.
Yea i'm using MMC 9.03 the tv just refuses to start?

Un-instal the remote wonder software. Then Un-instal MMC 9.03.
DL and instal MMC 9.06. Then re-instal the Remote Wonder software.
Any time you upgrade MMC versions You always have to remove the RW software first for some reason.
