Built off a clevo, nice. The GTX260 is the only thing that would hold it back. If you can find the M570TU with the GTX280, it may be better. Either would be good choices and you know that Sager/Clevo gets my vote. There are a couple of Asus laptops with 4800 series cards that may be worth looking at. not sure of pricing though.

Trying your luck with a notebook again, eh?

I agree with l&w - the 280 would serve you better. I don't know much about the Asus 4800 series boards, either, i'm afraid.

Yes frozenlead :D but this time its different since my uncle will be in IRAN for 3 weeks so i can test this laptop and if had problems i will give it to him to send it for repairs.

Also about the GTX 280M,yes its faster than a GTX 260M and the SAGER NP5797 has this VGA but:

1_Configuring a SAGER NP5797 with the specs like the one i chose will cost about 200-300 GBP more which i can't afford

2_GTX 280M is like a desktop 8800GTX and a GTX 260M is like a desktop 8800GT and the difference between these 2 cards isn't very much.

3_The model that i chose has a 18.4" LCD compared to 17" of 5797 (i know the difference isn't much but still :D )

About the ASUS models, well there is only ASUS W90 which has 2 HD 4870s in CF and its way out of my budget, also the other ASUS models like G70 series have 9800MGS and a GTX 260M is better than those.

^Bummer. If you can't find anything else, then I would definitely go with the beastly Sager.

Thanks a lot Maziar, now I have to reconsider my dream Sager purchase... and look for a relative in the UK flying "across the pond" so to speak soon :P

What's wrong with the 260 btw? Too weak for the 1920 x 1200 display?

GTX 260M is like a desktop 8800GT which is a good performer, but it may not to be able to "MAX OUT" every game @ 1920x1200
