Asus webcam not functioning

Hello,
My asus A55V webcam is not working..when i am on msn i cant see my image when i am video chat but my device manager shws tht my webcam is functioning properly.wht do I do?

It may be that the driver software is not at a current update and msn is not recognizing the old software. Go to control panel-Click hardware and sound-click device manager-click on the the triangle next to imaging devices and right click you asus webcam and click on update driver software-then click search automatically for updated driver software-let it run and if the software is up to date, it may be a trojan of some sort. In that case, you should do a full scan with malwarebytes, superantispyware, spybot search and destroy, and whatever antivirus your computer has. If all says ok, try cleaning the history and registry of your computer. If THAT does not work, it may be a hardware problem, try reinstalling the driver software.
