How to remove Win XP Pro and go back to Win XP Home ?

Was sold a bootleg copy and can't load SP's.

A complete disk format and re-install, unfortunately. Don't forget to backup
all your critical data first. (Emails, address book, favorites etc etc)

Hi

You will have to reformat the hard disk/partition before you can reinstall
XP Home. Have a look at the following article by Michael Stevens regarding
a 'Clean' install of XP:
