Restore factory settings without disc or deleted settings

i deleted my restore settings by mistake and don't have a disc to restore from.i ordered discs from hp but that wont work,its a hp compaq cq57 that came with windows home premium which i installed ultimate on myself.i have loads of issues and would like it back to how it was when new.

Did you make restore disks when you got the PC?If so, just restore from them. Why can't you use the discs from HP?

i got 3 discs and when i try to run them they just wont load

Are you saying they won't boot to the CD? or are they booting to the CD, but won't load?

hi i loaded the hp recovery discs but it stopped loading halfway through stating error
