hey guys.

I'm new here and I just had a quicky question for all you sound people / gamers / consumers.

I have been using my good 'ole Plantronics gaming headset for a while(5-6 mon), and for the most part enjoyed them. Well I get home one night about a week ago, and find that my mic on those Plantronics has crapped out on me.

With dismay in my heart, I start looking for some new headsets to replace my old set. The Icemat Siberia's looked nice, but the price was deterring. ~$55 on the Egg. So I check out some of my cheaper options, and all of them either had bad cans or a crappy mic.

So for **** and giggles, I decide to read a review on the Icemat headset. They sound sweet, they look sick, and for the most part I wanted to buy them. So I start to shop around. Froogle had a good price ~$48 + Ship. Not bad.

So I check Amazon, and I found them for ~$36! $42.XX shipped! I guess I'm just wondering if this is for real...whether or not this may be a scam. It says they are New, not used. And can be returned after 30days of purchase. Heres the link...

Question 1: What is your opinion on this purchase and whether or not you think I will actually get the headset specified? I guess I'm wondering if this is ''for real''.

Question 2: In your opinion, how has this headset done for you? Would you recommend them? What did you like/dislike about them.

Thanks in advance.
