Hi Everybody,
I was wondering if anyone knows what might cause the following to happen:
Both the Ubuntu and Windows loading screens pop up but then nothing happens. I have tried booting up from multiple live cds with no luck. Any clues would be helpful.

yeah but when I tried booting from USB, like the CD, it wouldn't even get to the loading screens.
I'd like to salvage the computer... but I might have to come to terms with it being dead.
