I have bought a new PC and BENQ projector.

I need to run Powerpoint presentations to a shopfront screen via the projector yet still use the PC and flat screen monitor for general office applications and web access at the same time.

The PC is running Windows XP, has a dedicated graphics card with video and DVI outputs and the BENQ 721 projector has video, USB, DVI and VGA inputs.

Is the solution in the form of extra hardware or software?

Indeed do i need anything extra at all.

Any advice gratefully received. Thanks

if your graphics card has two connectors then you should be able to do it. all you need is to plug them both in and use your graphics card control panel to adjust how you want your screens set up.
