I have Sony Vegas Pro 10.0 (32 bit) installed on my computer, which runs Windows 7 (64 bit). I was wondering what the effects of this are. What am I losing by running the 32 bit version instead of the 64 it version of Sony Vegas?

Solution
64bit programs can address more RAM and theoretically can throw bigger calculations at the CPU. Performance difference will be negligible assuming Sony even do a 64 bit version.

I really shouldn't worry about it. The amount of software on your machine that will be 32bit far outweighs 64bit.

As the others have said, this is really not an issue at all. Rest assured, you are good to go.

Have fun!
