Hello School Boy

What is WASH in schools?

To achieve long-term effects for the school, the children, their parents, their future children and the community as a whole, a WASH in schools intervention should consist of the following key elements:

* Design and construction ofchild-friendly, gender sensitive facilities for sanitation, handwashing, water supply and solid waste collection. (more on this in question 5)
* Development of adequate knowledge, attitudes and skills on hygiene trough life skills-based hygiene education. (more on this in question 6)
* Incorporate parents and community as target groups for the educational activities as well as the planning process. (more on this in question 7)
* Planning process that incorporates long-term sustainability through the set-up of appropriate plans for capacity building, selection of technologies and services, financial aspects, operation and maintenance and follow-up. (more on this in question 8)
* Creation of a policy environment that facilitates effective long-term interventions on hygiene, sanitation and water in schools. (more on this in question 9)
* Joint efforts and partnerships with others dealing with school health.
I hope now your home work Has been completed.

Likely ignored for four months because it has absolutely nothing to do with computer hardware (or even software). Recognizing the OP is a kid, and not likely to know better, it's a shame a useful direction to another site was not provided sooner.
