I will be buying a HDTV and using it as a PC monitor as it seems to be the best value for the biggest screen. I am torn between a Bush 32" and a 27".
My question is this; both tvs run at the same resolution 1366 by 768 or thereabouts, so which would look better as a pc monitor, would the 32" be too big for that resolution, or would the icons on the 27 inch be too small?
Is there a particular HDTV size that is best for use as a PC monitor
You need to realize that this section of the forum do not have a lot of visitors. Unlike the hardware section.
Technically speaking, you are better off with the smaller LCD TV because the pixel pitch will be smaller (not by much though). Thus images should be sharper. But it also depends on how close you will be.
If it will be sitting on your desk and you will only use it as monitor, then the 27" will be better.
If the LCD TV will service as both TV and monitor and you will be veiwing it at a distance, then the 32" will be the better option.
