Recently, I got a new dv6000t. When i booted it first time, it said windows was not installed correctly and asked for a reboot - and when i rebooted, it said the same thing. This was in an infinite loop. So, i installed MS Vista Home basic from the DVD provided(I didn know of the recovery partition). Now, am not able to access my recovery partition, or even create a recovery dvd. Is there any way to install antivirus and other bundled software that came with the laptop or should i have to reinstall everything right from the OS by the F10 option.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Vinodh

Do you have a second CD with the programs on them? If not and you have a recovery disk, which is most likely, you'd have to install everything from that.
