I installed two new drives and one is recognized while the other appears not to be there. I have an A7N8X-DELUXE motherboard and use the onboard SATA connectors. I also updated my BIOS but still nothing. Anyone have any ideas why?? Should I just reinstall Windows (XP Pro)?? Help would be greatly appreciated.

Does BIOS see it?

if it is brand new, you wont see it in'll have to initialize it before you can start to use it. But first, you should see it in BIOS, at post screen.

It is done in administrative tools in config panel, computer management and disc management.

-Always put the blame on you first, then on the hardware !!!

Thanks for your help. I only see one drive on startup. It's really frustrating. I'm using an A7N8X-DELUXE motherboard.
