I would like to intergrate my consoles and my PC by using one 40'' 1080p TV as one universal monitor.

I understand all the technological side of things and my question is simply on ergonomics

Does anyone else use a large TV for a montior and how do you do it, can I use lap desks and wireless keyboard and mouse as I know I cant use my desk and sit 3ft away from a screen this large.
