Hello there,

I have a compaq presario 7478 with 64mb of ram and I want to upgrade it to 512mb. I went here http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc [...] 00012546&a mp;lc=en and found information on my system. I have researched online and found some rams for my system, but the thing is, I am not sure if it is compatible with my system.

Here are 2 that I found on the internet.

Can someone tell me if it is the right ones for my system? If it is, then I will buy it. Thanks in advance.

Should work especially if you did a search on Crucial and these are what you came up with. It looks like you only have two slots so you'd have to get 2 x 256 unless you can find a 512MB stick
