About 2 days ago my Plantronics X30 headset broke (which I had been using for my Xbox 360 for about 6 months). After one match of Gears of War with out a headset... I started to go crazy. So I ran to my computer and looked for a headset for around $20 (that was reviewed positivity by owners of it). The headset that cought my eye was the Plantronics Audio 340. So I rushed out to Circuit City, bought the headset, then went back home to plug this sucker in to begin again, trash talkin! But there only was one HUGE glaring problem I had not realized when I purchased it! The headset had a 1/4 audio cable and a 1/4 mic cable (the 360 has a single a 1/8 socket)! 8O So I started to panic... then I ran to my closest Radio Shack. I picked up a duel 1/4 to single 1/4 adapter and a 1/4 to 1/8 adapter. So I went home again (all happy as I could be) an plugged the headset in and begin to send my friend a message... soon again I realized that I could only hear sound! Why you may ask, well because the duel 1/4 to single 1/4 adapter was for 2 people to listen to one iPod (damn Radio Shack guy) and only audio could be transferred through them. So the next day I went to Radio Shack to tell the guy there my problem... he then just said it was impossible (nothing more, nothing less). There must of been another way I thought to myself, the headset had amazing quality in the speakers and mic it had! :D

So now I'm coming to you guys; is there any way to hook a duel 1/4 headset into a 1/8 socket with adapters (please don't tell me to Google it cause I've been looking on Google for about 8 hours now). Any help would be appreciated! 8)
