hi,
I have an audigy 4 paired with Altech Lansing's MX5021 under Vista 32 bit. When I change the sample rate and bit depth to higher settings, the volume level goes down dramatically. As in with the speakers volumed at full, and so is everything from within a player, the sound level is just not equally loud anymore. Going back to old settings doesn't help then either.

I actually am not sure what exactly is causing it, yet your help would be greatly appreciated.
