Hi, I have a problem
I am building a hometheatre pc. I am trying to figure out what out put to use and what TV to use. I have not bought my TV yet but I do have the computer set up. it has a 9600xt with svideo and dvi output. Which will give me the best picture. do dvi to hdmi converters work well? I can't find a good quality TV that has dvi input all i can find is tv like this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6889114016

You get a lot better picture from the DVI than S-Video.
Those DVI-to-HDMI adapters work good but look for one which has an audio input too as graphics cards (exept from Radeon HD 2400/2600 series) can't supply audio like the HDMI would need.

S-Video is much lower quality than HDMI I tend to use composite for a few sound quality reasons mostly DDII. dont know if you can find that for your PC though.
