More Information

Ok, my friend just got a 24" Gateway monitor and an XBOX 360. Supposedly, the monitor supports 1080p. Also, the monitor can not do 1080p over RGB, which I assumed already. So, I let my friend borrow my VGA cable. Sure enough, the option for 1920x1080 is available, but when selected, the screen isn't centered. I've tried setting the monitor to Wide, 1:1, and Aspect ratio, but nothing works. However, if I take it down to 1368x768, sure enough, the screen works fine. Is there an LCD monitor that will allow 1080p resolution over VGA with the XBOX 360? I was thinking that perhaps the Dell 2407 would be able to handle it, but I'm not sure.

Any suggestions?
