Can anyone tell me what I need to do or buy to make a Microsoft Sidewinder Control Pad work in XP?

I seem to remember mine working without problems - what are the problems you are having? Unfortunately, I think I gave it away to my friend who emigrated, so I can't test it now.

If no-one can help you, I'd suggest you just go and buy a Microsoft 360 controller. I'm using one on my PC at the moment and I can honestly say it's the best PC controller I've owned.
