More Information

Has anyone ever seen an extension cable designed to bring a sound card's inputs and outputs from the back of a PC to the front?

My PC has all the audio inputs and outputs in the back. The PC is also located in an inconvenient place. That makes it difficult if I want to plug in different equipment. So, I'd like to find a 3 or 4 foot cable that I could use to extend the I/O ports to the front or side of my PC.

BTW, I know that you can buy audio panels that will plug into a drive bay on the front of a case, but that's not what I'm looking for.

I also know that I could probably buy several extension cables from Radio Shack, but I would prefer it if everything was bundled into a single shielded cable and then color coded. (Actually what I'd really like to find is an extension cable with a small panel on the end that would extend all my sound inputs and outputs, along with my USB, keyboard and mouse ports.)

Thank you.
