A question about loading on Windows 7

I disc version of Windows seven home premium. Apparently my external CD drive is shitty so I can't use that. Is it possible to load it through the disc onto a flashdrive using my macbook pro?

I think you should be able to, I don't have much experience with Mac's though. I believe you will create an ISO from it on the Mac and then you burn it as in image onto the flash? I do not exactly recall the method but if you look it up there is lots of information about using a USB stick to install, I am just not familiar with the Mac side of it.

Do I have to format the ISO on any way?
