It has been a year or so since I got my computer with a full running copy of Windows 7 Ultimate...
All of a sudden after about 6 months of owning the computer i get a message when i turn my computer back on saying

Windows 7
Build 7601
This copy of windows is not Genuine.

I bought this computer from a guy my friend knew and now i feel like i got ripped off because of this...Is there any way to fix it... tried to contact Microsoft...unresponsive.

I will be live on

For a few hours come by and ask questions if need be the case.
Thanks again

He probably used some sort of activation crack that's been disabled by an update. If you didn't get a valid key from the one that installed it then you're going to have to spring for a legit copy.

We don't discuss such things here. You need a valid key.
