Dear community people and geeks,

I have amilo 1845 D which has MHT2080at HARD DRIve 80 gb , 4200 rpm. Now, I have installed windows vista and luckily able to upgrade to 2GB ram too. Only remaining now is HARD DISK, I would like to go 64 GB SSD hard disk ?? !! If yes, is it possible , how to do that . !! which SSD i need to buy

I do not think amilo 1845 d LAPTOP has option of having two hard disks. I get the following regarding my IDE stuff.

IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers.

ATA - Channel 0
ATA - Channel 1
SiS PCI IDE controller.

What does the above mean ?

Sorry for the confusion in short ..

1. want to replace SSD 64 GB ? which is one is good and is it possible.
2. can i maintain my existing hard disk as it is ? for storage ?

Thanking you..

Friendsly Venky.

This is an IDE SSD that should work with your laptop's ports.
