How to install a compatable DVD decoder for my computer

my computer does not have a compatible DVD decoder, can i get it on the net

What told you that you don't have a compatible DVD decoder?
Usually you need to install something like PowerDVD from Cyberlink to get the DVD's to play.
What have you tried till now? and what players are you using?

i am using media player and i have tried to play a dvd and its telling me
