Hello, i am looking for a decent professional audio tools for playback and recording purpose on a tight budget.
I found two items to consider:

M-Audio firewire 410
Creative X-Fi Platinum

i dont know which one to choose, because the M-audio one looks like it does not support audio playback, so does it mean that i will need a separate sound card to connect my speaker and play music/games/movie during my recording break? some people are advising me to buy Creative's one mentioning that M-audio will require a separate sound card to playbackand also a firewire card to connect the device to my PC.

Actually i need a pro device to do my recording task, but i am on a very tight budget. So cant spend money for both a sound card and the M-audio Firewire 410. I hope people at this forum will help me taking the right decision.

Thanks

Ps: sorry for my bad english, if any.
