Everyone has there own preference, but giving the controllable lighting in my bedroom, I simply love glossy screens. My Samsung HDTV and HP Laptop both have them.
I have two questions.
1. Does any one know of any 24 inch widescreen LCD's (1920 x 1200) that have a glossy screen?
2. I know different manufactures call this gloss by different things, but is there any standard way to ask for one, or am I pretty much stuck with glossy screen?

1. Don't know of any 24" that have glossy screen. My NEC 19" and I know their 20" models have the "Opticlear" screen. I called NEC and they said the 24" is not glossy.
2. Different Company's will call the glossy effect by different names (ie- Opticlear for NEC), but, generally, websites like Newegg and NCIX will just call them Glossy, if anything.
I too would like a 24" glossy monitor, but havent seen any yet, and I'm not sure if any are in the works.
I know that HP has one. The w2408, but it looks like its part of a Media Center bundle. Also, so far separate it is only available in Europe. I saw it at Costco, and it looked awesome, don't know how well it does with ghosting and the like. But at least someone has one.
