Anyone else notice that the news tickers on the right side of Tom's Guide sometimes show really old news? Here's an example, I just read a forum post from 5/14/2008 and on the right side in the "In the News" category was a link to the following:

ATI Catalyst Drivers have a problem.
http://www.tomshardware.com/news/a [...] m,182.html

The article is dated in 2004!

I also keep finding myself clicking on thread topics on the right columns that sound interesting, and finding they are from early 2007 and are dead posts. Wonder if they do this on purpose, or if it's a side-affect of how their system works. Anyhow, I don't mind older forum threads as they sometimes contain interesting bits from folks I can use.

But a 2004 article on Catalyst drivers having a problem with Shader Model 2.0 and 3.0 doesn't really apply to today.

Hi jerreece,
This is made on purpose as the goal is to find related contents to the topic. But you're right, sometimes it's disturbing to find very old contents... we'll see how to improve this in the future.
