I have a very good very powerful analog stereo system with a preamp and an amplifier.
It is over 15 yrs old but of good quality and I love its power and sound.
I would like to build a cpu from scratch that would be relatively low cost but allow me to use a computer with a hard drive to interfact with this older stereo system.
I want to use my thousands of mp3 files with this system.
I also want to spend as little as possible to accomplish this.
Any ideas or any ideas where I could get some advice.
Thanks Brad

Crashman.
Thanks.
I have only built a couple of systems for my relatives and it wasnt much cheaper then the Gateway unit you recommended.
That is the way to go.
Thanks again.
