The sasa connect & 605 archos review

I have a problem with the review of the sansa connect and archos 605 wifi trying to compare the two is like comparing apples and oranges sansa connect is a great little device for music but its screen is tiny compared to archos.

The video quality on the archos is 300x better it can handle up to 720p as far as i know there are no portable players that can do this, as for the ability to record your tv shows was not mentioned either that ability alone is exclusive to the archos with the dvr unit you can play back your video in full dvd quality on your large screen tv.

No other portable player can do this either when you compare the price of an archos 605 wifi 160 gig vs ipod touch 16 gb price is identical or cheaper.

So if you want something for video would you rather be watching it at on a tiny 2 inch screen or 4.5 inch screen.

The archos outputs in composite,component and svideo with the travel dock or dvr station the sansa does not have this also has inputs for video as well and an optional helmet cam and fm tuner/mike.

Sansa connect video is horrible they use mjpeg where the archos can handle xvid,divx,avi,vobs.

Archos might not have a shoutcast streaming radio but i made one in flash , the sound and video can't be compared i have the sansa its a neat little bulky player but its limited.

The 705 will sport a 7 inch display great for car av installs.
