I recently installed the Sunbeamtech "3.5 inch Superior Panel". When I connect the card reader portion of it to the USB connector on my motherboard, my computer freezes while booting on the memory test. If I unplug the usb cable from the motherboard, the computer immediately becomes unfrozen and continues to boot.

Can anyone tell me why this is? Can anyone tell me how to fix it, or is the Superior Panel broken?

It doesn't matter which USB connection on the motherboard I use...it does the same thing. I have a Soyo KT400 Dragon Ultra motherboard. The card reader works if I plug it in after Windows is loaded.
